Meet The Captains

Aaron (Owner/Operator) has been a lifelong angler. From bass and muskie fishing as a child to deep sea fishing adventures all over the globe! Years of experience and having worked with his own kids, Aaron eagerly shares his love and passion for the water with all! Aaron has been fishing these San Diego and Mexican waters for the last 18 years. He will put you on fish and show YOU how to catch them!

Captain Brian was born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts (the “home of the fishermen”), my love for fishing began early on. I started lobstering when I was 15, and then commercial deep sea fishing not long after that. After moving to San Diego in 2014, I was fortunate enough to work as a deckhand on several private sportfishing boats out of Point Loma and in Mexico out of Cabo San Lucas. Since then I’ve been fishing all over, from San Diego through central America and into Florida, and all the way up the west coast through British Columbia to southeast Alaska.

Best boat at the dock! Aaron was friendly, funny, and more than prepared with the knowledge and equipment to help us learn how to fish! Aaron knew where to go and early on our son reeled in a twenty pound yellowtail! All in all, we caught two yellowtail and eight calico bass. We had yellowtail tonight and it was so delicious!! Aaron pointed out dolphins along the way and  his commentary made for an enjoyable day. Hope to go again. And we’d choose No Patience Fishing for sure.

The largest commercial charter boat in the marina was no let down. We arrived and were greeted by Aaron who allowed us to book a custom time slot to meet our very busy weekend. He was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Aaron let us know from the get go, today was a rock fishing trip and when the bite wasn’t on, he asked if we wanted to risk burning time to hit his personal honey hole. THE RISK WAS WORTH IT. Next thing we know BZZZZZZZZZZT that drag was SCREAMING! Two back to back massive yellowtail!  The name no patience comes from cap’ because you better not lose out on a TROPHY FISH or he will be disappointed! What an incredible day of fishing to round out an awesome weekend! We were inexperienced, and chose the 6 hour inshore trip.  Aaron took as 10 miles out to his favorite spots.  We hooked rockfish nonstop, but also saw exciting wildlife… 2 mola (one right next to the boat), seal, dolphins, and pelicans.  Aaron was in communication with the whale watches, but alas, no blue whales were in the area that day.  We were able to keep our catch and have it processed at the dock… we’ve been feasting on it and I froze the rest.  Now that we have a taste for charter fishing, a tuna charter is in our future!  I thought the 6 hour inshore trip was a perfect introduction to San Diego charter fishing.  Highly recommend the best captain (Aaron, who is actually super patient) on No Patience!

From booking to our fishing trip Aaron was fantastic to deal with.  He was knowledgeable, friendly and took us where the fish were just like he said! Amazing time on the water! My 2 sons and I chartered No Patience, and it was AWESOME!!! We caught 3 Bluefin tuna all around 100lbs and limits of Mahi…My boys had the time of their life and are already asking to go again. Thanks Captain Aaron!
